And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The Mississippi Delta was shining like a national guitar. I am following the river down the highway through the cradle of the Civil War. I'm going to Graceland. Graceland. Memphis, Tennessee. I'm going to Graceland.
Looks like Mark Knopfler's National guitar on the cover of Brothers In Arms. Before the electric guitar and amplifier were invented the resonator guitar was king if you were playing a big room. Al_in_Ottawa
It does look like Mark's "O" style National. The logo on the headstock threw me, though. It doesn't look like their modern logos, but the rest sure looks like it. Details here for the curious. https://chasingguitars.com/nationaldobro-history/

That is indeed Knopflers dobro and you can tell by the shape of the wear on the palm rest. The pick up someone mentioned is probably a fishman.
