And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I was at the Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson Arizona once and at the B-17 exhibit they had an older gentleman showing people around it, he said that when he was 19 years old he was a co-pilot on a B-17 during the first daylight bombing run on Berlin. That was an American teenager in the early 1940s.
Obviously its sci-fi art and the artist services a certain demographic who expects stronk!! independent girl/woman characters. I personally gave her two looks: one for the tits, the other for idiotic long hair when you're regularly wearing a helmet.
And then: for the next minute? I looked at the aircraft in the background, what is it? Air-breather? Ground-Attack? Transporter? VTOL? Where are the weapons? And so on....

20 year old B17 navigator led the inaugural flight of B17s from Hawaii to Australia. Took precision to hit those refueling atolls.
