And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Well, first, as kids we'd probably climb to the top of stairs and jump in, bang our heads on the side of the pool, and bleed all over the place. Second, as adults, we'd more than likely fall in multiple times while drunk and staggering, again with the banging our heads and bleeding all over the place. Not entirely safe, but I like it.
Somehow I feel lots of surrounding neighbors and HOA dues.
