And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
You know a tree is big when you can fit two guys in the undercut and they both have plenty of room to swing axes. I have never seen a picture like that before.
I would rather be the guy behind the other guy, no matter how big the tree might be. I wonder how long it took to fell this thing. My wife hates these pics.

Those two appear well versed in the proper use of a Michigan axe. Just check out the size of the woodchips they're producing. That's some cut.
