    1. Never knew that. Never seen one. Probably something wrong with my eyes, but I'm seeing some Morris Mini lines looking at that.

    2. That is world class ugliness right there. In fact, that level of ugliness would not be exceeded until Pontiac shit the Aztek.

  4. I actually like it, even the stop lights. It has a sort Jag look. But then I 10 and fast-looking were my thing.

All the early Vettes and Ponies were conceived more as roadsters than muscle cars, which came much later.

  5. Paint it Black. Put a Hertz roof on it. It should pass for Harold.

  6. It IS ugly, I'll give it that. I doubt it is actual, but likely a photoshop. The 53 and 54 looked a lot like other early 50s sportscars/roadsters, and were probably about as fast. The wheels look anachronistic too. As far as the Mini lines, I guess both vehicle have round wheels and tires. Beyond that, not so reminiscent.

  7. Hints of future corvettes without even squinting. It looks like a 55, 56 vette front end as well as the windshield. 63 to 67 stingray fastback, 63 to 72
    style bumpers.

Lots of styling exercises never made production, and that's good. But styling cues did transfer from year to year.

As far as ugly goes, it looks like money to me if it was in a private collection and it came up for sale.
