And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Look at those happy, carefree people in the raft -- the only survivors of the ditching
Those folks in the life raft are smiling because they're still feeling the buzz of having flown on a Lockheed Constellation. I can't say as I blame them.
My first commercial flight was on a PNA Connie out of SeaTac to Annette Island, AK. Annette to Sitka in a Big Cat, PBY. 1960. I was 17. Eight years later was aircrew on a Super Connie out of Guam. VW-1, Typhoon Huhters!
