And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My Dad was also a huge fan. Cash was coming on tour to Hawaii when he was stationed there in the early 70's. He did not go because he thought the crowds would be crazy (like when Elvis came). nope, only half sold out. He regretted not going. I am sure he is in attendance at every concert the man is having now.
One of the very few to talk, teach and joke as the best friend! He IS singing the words and talking the songs! What a blessing for the World to have such giant soul caring of us...
