And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? OK, I need a basic primer on obsidian. I, perhaps mistakenly for the past 50+ years that I've known that rocks had names other than skipping rock, BIG rock, slingshot rock, etc, have thought that Obsidian was a black, igneous, glass-like stone. But from this VERY COOL looking arrowhead - it appears that there may be exceptions to this generality?
I have found deep blue, neon blue, dark red, pale green, emerald green, tan, and the ubiquitous black Obsidian. The mounds which stretch between Mono Lake and Bishop are/were great places to find the aforementioned plus heaps of pumice and 'pop corn' pumice.
That arrow has mojo…
