And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
No, I think that was St. John"s Newfoundland taken just over a week ago. They had the worst snow storm in the city"s history and it's the oldest city in North America.
Blizzard of 1978 in Quincy Massachusetts. When I had parked the car, there wasn't even a bulge in the snow to show there was a car there. A week snowed in. Of course we were still in our twenties so my wife and I enjoyed that time tremendously!
