And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Almost looks like it's running on hydrofoils. Which would be a spectacularly dumb thing to do. Which then makes me wonder if some genius in USN procurement is putting together the PPT sell the idea.
While stationed at Pearl on the USS Los Angeles (SSN688), the Ohio arrived in port for a short stay, so I took a tour. Compared to the LA, the boat seemed a veritable giant. It is quite the platform for undersea ops. An impressive bit of engineering.
