  2. Sorry, that is not the 125 original version of the Colombo engine, it is the later, and far more popular 250 (three-liter) version.

  3. Triple SU carburetors on my E type were a pain to tune correctly, can't imagine what this takes.

    1. A balance gauge is what is normally used to synch multiple carbs. I
      once owned a Triumph Spitife with dual SU carbs. The balance gauge
      is a device that measures vacuum, but a British Leyland mechanic
      taught me a way to do it by ear. Cut two tubes to equal lenghts
      and put one in each ear. Once you hit the sweet spot (where they
      both sound the same,) you are in tune.

      You might get all three on a bank tuned by tuning 1 to 2, then 2 to 3.
      With only 3 carbs but a V-12 would require a balance gauge. Since you
      only have three, you must have an inline 6. It is doable. I used
      one of those cardboard tubes off an old style coat hanger.
