Triple tailed, four passenger, bi-winged float plane

  1. Supermarine Southampton, mid-1920's, designed by the Mitchell team that eventually produced the Spitfire. Its a flying boat i.e. supported by fuselage when on the water, as opposed to a floatplane which has its fuselage supported above the water by separate floats (think S6B Schneider Trophy airplane).

  2. I swear, English airplanes. Bless their hearts, they're either beautiful, or ugly as redneck sin.

This 'un here seems a little of both.
