  1. Hey, I have a great idea;
    Lets bypass union employees, who have been designing and building our airplanes for years, by purchasing a small aero company in a right-to-work state. Then we heavily invest in growing the company and then contract with them to build our airplanes.
    The shareholders will love us.

    1. Spirit Aero does the assembly of the fuselage segment, ships to Boeing, where the door plugs are removed during final assembly and fitting of the interior, then the door plugs are put back in place and finished by those Boeing employees.

      Learn the facts before spouting pro-union/anti-Right-To-Work bullshit.

    3. No he is right. Corpocracy is so corrupt its filtered down to everything. Anything is better than whats happening now. Between poisoning us, trying to murder us with that jabby jabby thing, their great reset crap, whathave you. The unions are not innocent in this. And if the unions are all about being on the straight and narrow, let me ask where are they? Seems to me laying in the same bed, ling as those dues keep coming and everyone shares in the lucra, not a peep to be heard. And what is an employee owned company? Its a vested interest contract. Would that be a better way to do things compared to what we have now? Like to think so.

    4. Missed the point; not pro union. I live in a right-to-work state.
      Outsourcing to the lowest bidder and shareholder value above all is the point. Not designing and building the best airplanes. I flew Boeing for 36 years, wouldnt touch an scarebus.
      Spirit has been culpable for a handful of QC "lapses" in the past few years. They are a problem child for Boeing. Assembling an airplane from (major) parts made in various places has never panned out (see 777).

    1. Further, identify the specific worker responsible for these parts. This is the sort of sabotage that is widely taught in 4th generation warfare manuals worldwide. It would not surprise me to find that a terrorist held the wrench.

  4. Sabotage. Creating destruction and death appears to be a pattern particularly of late. Cu Bono huh?
    Its almost as if death and destruction turmoil and strife is something something feeds on. Ever get that sense of things? I surely get that, like it feeds something. And I am not just talking about for false flag or look its a squirrel purposes, I'm saying something thrives or gets purpose or something from or out of these dark things. And its not about getting biblical or anything, its the pattern in detail that creates pattern of details, cant dissmiss what you can't unsee. There is pattern to these things over and over like its entirely deliberate. And thats simply from noticing such stuff repeatedly. Its no different say with our "elected" "leaders", lord is that ever an oxymoron, no pun intended, no matter what we get the same or worse fools crooks liars grifters etc, only they get worse, or more cunning. Nothing ever gets better in our direction always the reverse. Now I am not whinging here, simply pointing out what my, unlying eyes and critical thinking senses tell me. Its simple and basic evil, its always been part of humanity, yet being born in the late fifties I know dead nuts for certain whatever it is that rules over us and plays world domination game, it shifted into overdrive like around 1970-71. Its on some repeating loop or program also.
    Its time this crap ended. Enough. It is unacceptable in every way. We got this beautiful world and something that operates along the fringes of the shadows is out to wreck everything while stealing every cent of wealth and prosperity. It could not get anymore plain about it. I watched it for over 60 years now.

  5. Small comments from an actual engineer. It would be my guess, without seeing the actual blue prints that the bolts in question had witness marks on them showing the position of being torqued to spec. Now if this in fact occurred the QC guy signing off on this has signed the paperwork attesting to it.

    My conjecture is that the rivnut in the plane body might have fretted the hole and lost its ability to maintain purchase. This is easily determined by what was left in the plane body. If the rivnut is undamaged and secured in the structure then the bolt fell out. If rivnut is damaged then a look to all the rivnuts for same damage. If some are undamaged they fell out first and ones left could not contain cabin pressure. Pattern on this is important.

    The whole fleet across the country should be grounded and until the FAA and the NTSB give direction on how to contain and mitigate this then flying a 737 is akin to playing Russian Roulette at 30,000 feet. And if you do have to fly always wear your seat belt.

    1. U need to look at how the assembly is held in. Rivnuts are not a part of the issue, the bolts are just used as pins. Bolts with castellated nuts and either lockwire or cotter pins. Your statement above is entirely incorrect from an engineering/assembly relevance standpoint. This appears to be a failure in assembly. Either the bolts were not installed or the nuts/lockwire was not installed. There are likely no torque specs for such an installation. You can easily find photos of the assembly on Google for reference.

  10. Boeing bought McDonnel-Douglas some years ago and the management that came over has been getting into the upper reaches of Boeing management. They are doing the same stuff that ran MD into the ground. Boeing used to be run by engineers. Now it's run by MD bean counters. The development is not healthy, as can be seen by recent events

    1. Boeing was a questionable company even back in the late 80s when I worked for them in Seattle. Airbus: a consortium of EU entities. Boeing: union labor and lowest-bid suppliers. I drive cross-country. Rather drive 3 days to cross than fly for 6 hours
