Last pepper harvest of the season, I think, so I'm gonna try and make hot sauce. First try at this.

 


Ferment a week in brine with garlic, then puree, then cut with apple cider vinegar to taste.  Those are Lemon Drops and Chinese Five Colors, both pretty hot.

  3. Peppers love sandy soil, as do tomatoes. Buy some playground sand and mix with Black Kow and some Perlite, incorporate into your soil.

  4. I canned 26 quarts of Jalapenos and froze three FULL gallon bags of sliced peppers as well. Many friends and family love peppers so I share a lot.

  5. An old friend has a pepper patch every year, he makes salsa and also dries a lot of peppers.
