  1. Comes with "flash mode".
Why is that every dam flashlight on the market these days has this shitty flash mode? It's a mode that most people will never use, but there it is, ready to piss you off none the less.

    1. I noticed that too. Maybe it's there to see if it will cause seizures in those susceptible to it? Otherwise, it's probably just something they can point to to claim it "adds value."

    2. I think it is there for a warning for something like an accident or roadside emergency. Works good for disorienting an assailant too.

  2. I have one. It is nice. It gets almost zero use. Oh well...

  3. I've used the flash mode. Very small flash, clipped to my hat, while biking home at dusk. A flashing light catches the attention better than a steady light.

  4. If I was working I'd get one... It looks like a good deal.
But for flash lights in the house I buy a large (10 or so in the pack), cheap set from Walmart. They get hung behind the doors, in the desk, by the sink, everywhere!

  5. Go to Walmart. Get a Coast brand mini flashlight. LED of course, Single battery (AAA) required (Big Plus). Low and High modes, no flash. 10 bucks. Worth it. My EDC light for over two years now. They also make a single AA battery light but Walmart doesn't carry it anymore.

  6. Inexpensive yes - BUT, it really backs when your equipment craps out and you're left in the dark. It always happens at the worst time like climbing out of your tree stand or trying to leave your root cellar and find your way back to the door. I've tried dozens of flashlights over decades (some even in the $200.00 plus range). The one that always rides in my front pocket is a Lumintop Tool AAA. I've dropped it on concrete from up a step ladder, run it through the washing machine and dryer more than once and it just keeps going. Toss a disposable lithium cell or a rechargeable in it so you don't have to worry about leakage and you're set with a great tool that won't let you down. Available on Amazon for under 20 bucks.

  8. That is a good price, but I have 4 from Harbor Freight for just a bit more $.
Power is always going out where I am, too tough to go looking for lights.
I keep two of those guys in my pockets everyday.
