And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Oh, and "Parking 25¢" is classic. Currently, it's $35. But that's okay, especially for parking in a structure three times farther away, that was bought and paid for 20 years ago, because everyone's wages since then have also increased 14,000%, amirite?
When my ship was in port we would head out to Disneyland on Friday or Saturday nights. Plenty of the female types (the real females) would be plentyful.
Yep. He entrance to Disney in Anaheim....decades ago. Doesn't look like that now.

ReplyDeleteThis was in the 1950's. And my family visited there back then. I am pretty sure that the entrance tickets were $1 each.
