And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Typical "I'm right and everyone else is wrong" thinking common in the world of firearms. Extreme pedantry and narrow mindedness is why I don't bother with gun forums anymore.
It is a Henry Big Boy in .357 and is wearing Ranger Point Precision furniture. This is a function over form issue. Many cannot take a lever action being sullied with such hardware, but that being said, the stocks and the upper rail make it much more user and accessory friendly.
The lever gun, much like a Les Paul or a Telecaster was done right, the first time around. That's an affront to God.

Roger that. 357 makes a great ranch rifle.
