And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? In Florida back in the early 70s my Dad would get my brother and friends with our tent and fishing gear in the back of his 55 Chevy Cameo Carrier and drive down Tamiami trail about twenty or so miles and drop us off on the side of the road. Said I will see ya here on Sunday noon. We would set up camp on the OLD Tamiami road and fish and explore to out life's content! No cell phones of course! Needless to say it was a wonderful time to be young and free in the swamp.
