Sir Richard Burton

 


This guy's life story is one of those "wouldn't believe it if it wasn't true."

He was a fluent Arabic speaker, and once posed as a Muslim pilgrim to Mecca, when it was death to be caught there as an infidel (as they define it).  He circled the Kaaba with the chanting zombie hoard and lived to tell the tale.
