I had an uncle that had a 65 Gladiator 4x4 with the V8. He drove it 70 miles round trip to work 5 days a week. It burned 2 tanks of gas a week. He traded it for a 73 Chevy half ton with a 6 cylinder power nothing that got 16mpg when fuel prices jumped he could no longer afford the 8 to 9 mpg of the Jeep.
Had a 460 in a F-250 extra cab long bed with a camper top. 8mpg. 4-6 if I was pulling a trailer with excavation equipment. Now you know why wrong charge soon much
