  2. This won't win me much favor with feminists, but I would take a Maxfield Parrish painting over Georgia O'Keefe any day. The O'Keefe painting above this one just seems flat and amateurish and of the Primitive school. Parrish was able to capture light in a way that few others have managed. The light in his paintings seem to emanate from the canvas, it has a glow of its own.
