  1. 12 gal is a big one! Even a small one can be a huge help (and immediate help!) when water gets in the wrong place.

  3. A matter of importance in shop vac performance is how it exhausts the sir going through it. I have a shop vac that exhausts around the entire perimeter of the motor housing and it blows shit all over the place which is a PITA.

I have another one that exhausts through a single 2.5" pipe and I put a muffler on it which reduces the sound a little and stifles the brash flow of air. This Dewalt has a single pipe, so that is good.

  4. any shopvac is designed not be moved, not keep the top secured, and to fall apart.
