  1. I used to drive one in an orchard back in the 60s. Wonder if it's still running.

    1. Rear swing axle makes M151s dangerous out on the road . We had MRC-107As in our radio shop (M151 with radio pallet installed). Woman in the shop managed to turn one over on the highway, radio pallet acted as a roll bar and saved her but the jeep was totaled.

  3. I've driven fast cars, all mopars, had a '68 convertible Dart GTS with factory 383, but I've always wanted a real Willy's Bros. Jeep, bare bones, like that one. Maybe someday (sigh)...

  4. The summer I turned 9 we spent in a cabin in the Cherokee National Forest. One of my dad’s friends loaned us a Korean War vintage Jeep that looked an awful lot like the one pictured. My sisters and I rode around in the back of that thing all summer, up and down the Tellico River. My dad lost his job in September of that year and we had to move away from our extended family (grandparents, cousins, etc.). I’m really glad we had that wonderful summer.

  5. Hudson is just across the Saint Croix river from Minneapolis. The St. Croix being the border between WI and MN.
