  2. Look at the difference between Ike's medals and General Milley's.
Ike was the supreme allied commander in WWII, what (if anything) has Milley done beside emasculate the military to warrant all his?

    3. Milley's medals and decorations looks a lot like North Korean officers where they run down the sleeves and pants legs.

  4. Really? Nobody named the three? General (future president) Eisenhower, General Patton, President Truman. July 20, 1945. Of course I'm almost 4 score (look it up!)

    1. That would be Colonel Truman, USAR, CO of the 379th Field Artillery Regiment of the 102d Infantry Division, formerly Captain Truman, CO of Battery D, 129th Artillery, 35th Infantry Division, in Meuse-Argonne, France.

  6. The question was how many TWENTY year olds could name them, not how many old farts.

    1. Exactly my observation, too. There isn't one 20 year old visiting this website dedicated to old horndogs salivating over the 20 year old "smile" of the day.

    1. General Patton died in December, 1945 while Donald Trump was born in June, 1946. Patton believed in reincarnation, so why not?

    1. I think Truman was the last decent Democrat President we had. Once out of office, President Harry Truman decided that he did not wish to be on any corporate payroll, believing that taking advantage of such financial opportunities would diminish the integrity of the office. He had no personal savings. His only income was his old army pension: $113 per month.

  12. My 20 year old son named them, but it took 2 tries for Patton. He guessed MacArthur first.

    1. My 17 year old son named all three. It might help that he has watched "Oppenheimer" twice.

  13. Patton was the only modern military leader that could wear attire like that, and have it look like it belonged on him.

    1. Patton was a cavalryman and also rode horses for sport. He represented the United States in the first Olympic Pentathlon in 1912, in which he got a perfect score on the steeple chase portion. He came in fifth overall after the judges ruled that one of his pistol shots missed the target. Patton argued that it simply went through one of the previous bullet holes, but to no avail.

He also designed the Army’s cavalry sword of 1913, which of course came to be referred to as the Patton sword.

One of the sidearms he is wearing he used while chasing Pancho Villa and his guerrillas during the American expedition into Mexico in 1916. He later added the other revolver to his armament.

So yeah, he could wear that stuff and make it look like it belonged. I’m surprised he didn’t carry the sword though. :)

  14. Not 20 years old but I asked my 31 year old son. Not only did he nail the names but also the location of where the photo was taken. I'm a proud dad.
