And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Don't let the concussion damage your windshield, sister.
Agree. Look at the barrel, ain't no .308. No concussion to worry about. Serious scope, must be for longer distances. You can have some fun shooting 22s at 200 yds+.
Brother-in-law took a shot at a buck across the hood of his truck a number of years ago ( several violations of law on that shot, BTW). Muzzle blast took a big "V" of paint right off the hood...and he missed the buck. 30-06 can do that.
