  1. A killer robot is definitely possible, but thankfully the batteries will only last a short time. So here’s hoping that the oft promised next-generation battery never happens.

  3. More destruction is possible through computer control of the grid, cell towers, GPS systems, etc....and the mass killing is already underway and there is little we can do to stop it.

  5. Not funny. DARPA robot warrior has 24hr capacity now. Granted, low demand situation, but battery or alt power source will be developed. Processing capability is nearly there for quasi decentralized / monitored platooning.

    1. Exactly! And true to form as it executes it's Air Force One stairs program. It's made out of recycled voting machines, a stolen '67 Corvette, an old lunch box, and your tax dollars. No joke, man.

  8. Whenever I see the failures I think of the direction it’ll be in after a few decades. I think current electric cars, windmills, etc are currently a bust, but they tech will catch up to functionality eventually.

I will never give up my gas car that rumbles vroom voom though…
