I could eat all those myself, plus some sourdough to soak up the juice.

    1. Don't forget the virgin olive oil for that sourdough.

  2. Very good eating, and easily $50 for the tray in Seattle. Wonder what it'd be in NYC? Not to mention the wine. Had a similar meal on the balcony of a restaurant in Tréport, France, overlooking the English Channel at sunset. Had a lovely Semillon as I recall. Don't recall the cost but did not really care at the moment.

  7. I can't wait till Apalachicola oyster fields open back up. The prices for oysters will drop in half.

  8. Back in my college days in Dallas, a local restaurant had an all-you-can-eat oysters on the half shell item on the menu for about $15. You had to eat three dozen to break even. I ate five dozen and topped off the meal with a fried shrimp basket with fries and Cole slaw. That would probably kill me now!
