    1. There's more than one brand of barbarian out there. And we've already got too many inside the gates.

  6. May we come in and speak to you about Tlaloc, Our Lord and Savior? Maybe leave a pamphlet?

  7. " Some post-conquest sources report that at the re-consecration of Great Pyramid of Tenochtitlan in 1487, the Aztecs sacrificed about 80,400 prisoners over the course of four days." - AL Tru

    1. And their "priests" would take a bite of your still beating heart before throwing down the stairs to the lower holy men. Fun bunch of guys.

  8. Not the barbarians I was expecting or see on the news today.
I guess when they smack you with a club (or machete or use a gun), drag off the females and burn your house down it won't matter where they came from.

  10. Wonderful movie with a gag built in. One scene has a vast field of the dead bodies from a mass sacrifice. I’ve never been able to see it but I’m told amongst all that hideous carnage is an extra dressed as Waldo from “Where’s Waldo”

  13. I thought this was a great movie on many levels. It is a great period piece with excellent costumes, sets, and dialogue. It’s about the relationship of family and friends and how that love binds people. It’s also a very good action adventure movie. Truly a spectacle and entertaining.
However I think at it’s heart, it’s a story of a bloated, corrupt ruling class, the cruel administrative and mercenary class who benefit from, and who keep the rulers in power, and the lower class who suffer from the system.
