  1. Given the wound channel, guaranteed to ruin a lot of meat or hide. Might as well have an explosive tip.

  2. ..and you think bullets are expensive?

    1. You can't pick up a bullet and shoot it again. Reloading basically requires a rubber band.

    2. Lost arrows are simply part of bowhunting. So, shooting off easily lost mechanical broadheads does seem odd.

My simple easily resharpened old school broadheads seem to get me a deer or two each year.

And for the record I HAVE recovered my 58 caliber bullets from deer and bear and remelted them into a new bullet (some lost lead added in).

      Blackpowder season is fun also.

    3. I still use what I started with-Barrie Rocky Mountain Razors.
1.25" on an aluminum arrow is still deer poison.

  3. needs a couple more hinges and a 2nd set of bearings...

  4. It would harvest meat behind a kevlar vest. Not the trauma plate, but the kevlar.

  5. Not even legal in my state for elk. Fixed blade is the way to go.

  6. I think that's for fish, like big gars. Tough scales & bone plate. Or hogs.
