And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I had a couple of figures along with the space station and moon crawler. The arms and legs were stiff wire inside the rubber so you could bend them into various positions. If you bent the limbs too many times the wire would break and the affected arm would just stick straight out to the side.
No, but I have a toolbox for buying a case of Valvoline Racing Oil and some steak knives for filling up at a Shell Station. Those were grand old days when they encouraged us to buy petroleum products.
Kids have some cooler toys now, and obviously video has greatly improved since the Odyssey, but the disappearance of stuff like this leaves them bankrupt.

ReplyDeleteI guess that you can tell my approximate age also, I just turned 60.....

ReplyDeleteReminds me of the P.A.C.K. Collection. Big Jim and the boys. Best collection ever. The Beast was awesome.
ReplyDeleteYes! And his rocket ship/capsule-
ReplyDeleteFor some reason still thinking about this. The backpack had a zip line you could string across a room so he would look like he was flying.
