  6. Flat black, LS7 with 6 speed manual, keep jag suspension, excise the lucas wiring system and upgrade to a painless set up. Get out on a lonely stretch of hiway, 2 or 4 lane after dark and enjoy.

Won't forget the radar jammer, and night vision goggles. Install a brake light kill switch so cops couldn't tell if/when you slowed to make upturn.

Lots of fun to be had.

    1. I actually had a car with the brake light cutout on it. It helped me escape the cops when caught street racing at night.

    3. Small Block Ford fits in a Jag much easier , due to the exhaust location

  7. Obviously, the best choice is "Go Faster Red." It's been proven to increase speed in all conditions. Radar cops would agree.

  8. Speed yellow. I went to high school with girl that had a yellow one. She thought she was better than everyone else. I always thought she was actually sort of right about that! 🤣

  9. I'd modify it like Harold did in Harold and Maude and then paint it traditional hearse black.

    1. Correct. Absolutely. "Dinner is at 8 Harold. And do try to be more vivacious."

  10. You're all wrong. Black, with a red hour glass on the hood. Like a black widow.

  11. A lot of people have written "British Racing Green". Unfortunately there is no such colour. The correct name is "Connaught Green".

  12. Opalescent Gunmetal Grey like CUT 7, Dick Protheroe's famous race car.
If you want maximum resale value contact the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust with your serial number and they'll tell you what the original paint and interior colours were.
