And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The girl riding in the Vette appears to be fond of whoever is taking her photo. A young woman's legs, wearing cowboy boots, hanging out the window. I'd wager big money she's wearing a little dress. Sigh.
Sigh indeed, friend. I'm too old and fat to be young and handsome enough to have a pretty (I'm assuming she's pretty) young girl in cowboy boots like that.
Earthquake pic is Wasilla Alaska. We are still getting aftershocks in the same area years later. It was a fun one with much “pucker factor”. Must have thick skin to live here. Ex. Tuesday/ Wednesday we broke a twenty year old record for most snowfall in 24 hours and it’s a balmy negative eight as I write. Invigorating! Sez, 1st ANGLICO
Pic #13: I have a photo from that exact spot... out on the Isle of Skye at the beginning of the Quiraing Walk off the road from Bogaig to Idrigil. What a beautiful country.
Ya bunch o lubbers. Ya haint spent no days on ye watery graves. Ye dare nothing. Neither ye know thee exuberant seas. You'll see nothing of the kind abourd the earf.
First pic looks like to me a shot taken of the Bluenose from Gertrude L Thebaud during the 1938 best of 5 schooner schooner races held off Gloucester Mass..
