    1. The best thing about a long bar is that you don't have to bend over to cut stuff on the ground.
      My favorite saw/bar combo for years was a Stihl 361 with a 28" bar. Unfortunately, my back can't take it's weight anymore. Sigh.

  3. Kinda reminds me of catching my wife using a ball peen hammer to drive nails/anchors to hang pictures. The saw we used when we had our farm in Idaho had a bar almost that long, but it was a Huqvarna. Three rules for country living-never teach your wife how to run the tractor, how to use the chainsaw or how to dress a carcass. If she knows how to do those things, she might figure out she doesn't need you. Haha.
