And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
As kids common sense told us what would work and what wouldn't so we didn't do all the stupid stuff kids do today. I never once ate Tide, tried to skateboard on an iron railing etc.
I've done that, 'cept it was into gravel. Fortunately, there was a pediatrician open (I was 32) on Saturday. When my boss asked what happened, he didn't believe it was a bicycle accident. He said, "Year, ran into a door, right?"
