  2. It appears to be a B-380 with the legs removed and balanced on blocks, although the advantage escapes me. Portable?

  4. I don’t wrap my ribs. Open cook ‘‘em to temp but baste regularly. I wrap bigger meats

  5. I rented a cabin in the NC mountains last spring that had a Rectec RT-590. I was so impressed with it I have decided my next grill will be a Rectec. I was able to smoke a Boston Butt at 200 degrees, trout at 300, and sear a ribeye at 700 degrees. There were no hot spots and the heat was uniform. The searing tray worked great.
