And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I went to several Red Flags at Homestead and Eglin. Living in a tent out in the swamp, gators were always wandering in. Little guys like that you grab by tail and toss back out into the water. And make sure to shake your boots out in the morning before you put them on.
Lived in southwest Florida for 40 years, moved to the north 16 years ago. My only regret is that we didn't move 20 years earlier. I don't miss FL and I'll never go back.
I miss Florida...we had a couple of those little guys living in our backyard when I was stationed at Homestead AFB...
