  2. He tried to get hired on at Swift but DID pass the driving test. Not as difficult as it would seem. Think how you'd pull it out, then push it in.

  3. The worst part of truck driving was trying to back into a tight space on a busy street. Much better to deliver at night or before 6 am.

  6. Used to deliver to a Safeway on Bay Street in downtown SF similar to this. But had to blindside it in.

  7. Try doing that into an alley....about as narrow...off of Broadway, in downtown Los Angeles...during rush hour. What a pain.

  9. The farther the axle is from the hitch the easier it is to back up. Semi trailers are easier than short cargo trailers.
