And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Our local yard jaguar planning his next mischievous outrage
when we moved here there where 3 cats around, started putting some food out for them and they stayed and killed everything that came close. mice, ground squirrels, small birds, everything. and they started having kittens too. so, we rounded them up with cages and got 13 or them cut or fixed. since then we have lost 3 of them. they are really good at their job too. and funny as hell to watch. a couple of them we can pet, but they all seem to know their names (she named them all ) the new puppy has issues with them near his house unlike our older dogs who have passed on. still 80 bucks in cat food a month is worth it. unlike our neighbors, we do not have mice problems !
