And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The "Studio Dodge" car is a factory experimental car. The F/X cars had shortened bodies, lightened body panels, and thin,non-safety glass from Corning. If you compare the two body styles, you'll notice the shortened front end on the Dodge, between the front wheel well, and the fiberglas front bumper. It's shortened also between the rear wheel well and the door. The rear bumper looks to be fiberglas also. irontomflint
Was taking high school auto mechanics in senior year 1971. Sox and Martin brought one of their cars (Road Runner) for us to drool over and learn from. About blew the windows out of the shop revving open headers. They did a couple of short burnouts behind the shop. Big fun.
Same here - grew up in NC and not far from Sox and Martin garages in Burlington. Watched them race at Rockingham drag strip while in college...now where did I put those Polaroids?.....redclay7
Ah the cars of my yute. Especially Ronnie Sox and Buddy Martin. Being a Mopar enthusiast, they were high on my list of favorites.
ReplyDeleteOh man Sox and Martin. Yes definitely memories of our yute .
ReplyDeleteI remember watching Richard Petty running the big ol #43 Plymouth Superbirds when I was a 7 year old kid
