Automatic? Neat-looking latching action though.
Automatic refers to either the ability to use single or double action or the ease by which the barrel is slipped out/off. Not how many bullets are fired on each trigger pull. Or at least that is how I read it :-)
I think the "automatic" refers to the ejection of the cases as the gun is opened.
That is, indeed what is meant.
The Webley was also and automatic. That meant the mechanism re-cocked the hammer and rotated the cylinder after each shot, so it was always in single action mode.
