  1. Depends on how much time, money and effort you'd want to invest in it.

    1. HA! That's almost exactly what I was going to write. With enough time, money and effort all things are possible. Now, you might spend more restoring the old than buying a new one, but when did financial balance ever have anything to do with it? The sense of accomplishment rules over all.

  3. The rule of restoration (which I learned the hard way) is to buy the absolute best example you can afford. To restore this motorcycle would equate to buying a new one, one piece at a time, while paying premium prices for the rare bits.

  4. We live on a planet that is rich in oxygen which converts steel into rust but we keep building stuff from thin sheet stamped sheet steel and then replace it with the same thing every few years while we pay our Govt. to dump salt all over our roads which speeds up the process even more instead requiring people to learn basic winter driving skills. We have so much to learn..........

  5. What if you got it cheap and just wanted the engine to run a generator or well pump? Gotta think outside the box.
