And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Aviation has a perfect safety record in that area. We have never left even one aircraft up there for others to run into or (even worse) fall on someone.
If you have to eject, either because you were shot down or fuck up and run out of fuel, or if you screw up and fly your plane directly into a body of water, that's not landing. He didn't walk away from any of those anyway.
