    1. my Dad had a light blue/blueish silver coupe back in 68, my first experience with weber carbs, used the same carbs on my 914 race car 30 years later.

  4. Wrecked my vw while in college and wanted to buy a Corvair in susan ville for $300. My dad said they were too dangerous. I'd never heard of Nader.

    1. My best friend is a retired CHP officer. He loves Corvairs. He told me many times that if the tires are correctly inflated these cars were incredibly safe. Tire pressure was critical in Corvairs.

  9. First car - a 1965 Corvair Corsa 4-speed convertible, dark green. Great car. Regret selling it but it was home in PA and I was in the Navy in CA.
