And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
There was something going on between those two! She got herself locked up for bringing him pot. (I’d have thought, “Banana creaming her pie”, would have been enough!)
i was lucky enough to meet her in 1969 at her Las Vegas home when my dad was giving her an estimate on some home renovations. she was very nice and gave me some cookies and milk in the kitchen. i was 9.
