And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My daughter is a sculptor who casts a lot of cast iron. I enjoy it as a hobby, so I go to the events some, and sometimes I work the safety lines. More than once I've had to look at a cameraman: "That lens is not a magic shield. That iron will not care that you have a camera and will burn you. A lot." They just don't get it.
I think he was looking for that exact shot, and the video was shot to capture the moment of truth.
