  2. 20 oz denim! Man, that's heavy, like wearing jeans made from a tarp. US jeans makers for heavy-work jeans are 13 or 14 oz fabric. Interesting video though. The Japanese are crazy about a lot of things.

  3. Synthetic indigo made by the BASF process and natural indigo dye are chemically identical. The claim that natural indigo is superior is marketing nonsense.

  4. And U.S. textile mills sold their superior much sought after machines to upcoming turd world countries. Because no need to inventory idled machines after offshoring jobs in seeking cheap labor.

  6. Levis sent their N America manufacturing to Mexico years ago. Quality nose dived, now I buy Wrangler or Buddy Lee.
