  2. Co-starring in The Creature from the Black Lagoon was one of the all-time most beautiful babes of Hollywood, Julie Adams. Growl!

P.S. Ben Chapman, who played the Creature when out of the water, was paid $300 a week. (IMDb is your friend.)

  3. My dad was a crowd extra when they filmed some of it at Marineland in St. Augustine, Florida. They went to St. Augustine High School and got some kids for the crowd fleeing scenes when the creature escapes from the tank. He said they got paid .50 cents a day and a box lunch. He said he was a star and had his own scene because he was the kid jumping over the turnstile when the creature was right behind him. lol

  7. The boat scenes and some underwater work was filmed in Silver Glen Springs, a couple shots were filmed at the Yacht Club in Jacksonville and the tank scenes were filmed at Marineland.

  9. I don't understand why Hollywood doesn't remake these old Horror Movies into LBGTQ+123* Woke agenda movies? I'm sure they would be big hits.
