And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Red GTO with the (correct) mags is sweet! Hate going to car shows and seeing these beautiful classics with low profile tires and wheels from Rent 'n Roll. -WDS
Those are aftermarket American mags (as someone pointed out) with matt centers similar to torq thrust which had a flat profile on the center spokes. The originals were factory " style" steel wheels which were used on several GM models. Bubbarust
One sunny afternoon in 1982, I was on my way to meet the owner of a white '65 to pay him for it, when he decided to romp on it one more time and blew the engine into orbit around Mars. I wanted to shoot the sumbitch. Then AND now.
Photo 1. I had a 68 CJ5 that at 33k miles the plastic timing gears stripped and at 46k miles the transfer case gears stripped. Sold it right after that.
Gosh I love that GTO

"Red GTO with the (correct) mags is sweet!"
DeleteExactly! My brother had those same wheels (I think they're American brand) on his '56 Chevy back in the '60s. Perfect for that period of classic car.
Cragar Mags Dude. 69 vintage.
