  3. Didn't Yamaha make something much like this in days past? Single side swing arms front and rear? Hydraulic steering actuation? Lotsa concept bike pix, but this one was back in the 80's or 90's

  5. What I like about hub-less wheels on bikes is all the steering and braking forces are concentrated in one spot right at the contact patch. No notable flex to degrade the handling. Might not matter much on the sand/salt, though.
