And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Those carts go a lot better if you swap in a 100-125cc motorcycle engine. 10-23hp really makes them move, and handle pretty good. Required slicks to stick to the pavement. Had a buddy who swapped a Kawasaki twin 440 into one. Had to stretch the chassis 16" to fit it, IIRC. We mostly ran it around dirt ovals. Serious blast! He ran it down the road behind a car, and they clocked it at 90mph in third gear. Mostly ran second gear on the dirt.
